Working on some familiar characters for a future project. This is (hopefully) Han Solo circa Return of the Jedi.

I think I've got the face pretty much done. I just need to work on making a good costume.

Did you ever notice that Harrison Ford's nose has a bit of a twist to it? He must have broken it once or twice.

You made that with DAZ? It really looks like Harrison Ford! :) I always thought that you can't personalize DAZ models much..

That's Hiro 4 from DAZ alright. I used the ++Morphs from Daz along with the Ultra Morphs from RDNA, some magnets, and the Poser 7 morph brush. Same with Luke Skywalker. It took quite a while to get it looking right.

Wow.. I wonder why majority of dA artist aren't using DAZ models as creatively as you.. I usually see the basic models with little modifications and that's just about it.

So basically, you'd be able to do any kind of face with DAZ models if you have the skills?

Skills AND patience AND great morph packs. Although, if you are really good with the magnets and morph tools then you wouldn't need the morph packs. I think of them as great time savers. Patience is key.

I don't know why more people don't use the models more creatively. I've even noticed some of the top merchants making the same characters over and over again but with slightly different textures and very slight changes to the face morphs. I really don't get it.

I never really thought it would be that hard. It seems to be almost as hard as modeling it from the scratch :S
